Why this exists
Everyone has a chore they keep putting off. For a lot of people it is the bed. Washing sheets is mostly waiting. Stripping the bed and wrestling a fitted sheet back onto a mattress is the part that actually takes effort, and it is the part every laundry service leaves to you.
Smiley Sheets started in Lincoln to do exactly that part. One person, one route, and beds that are made the way you would make them if you had the time and the back for it.
Who is coming into your home
The same person, every visit. Licensed, bonded and insured. You get a text before we arrive and another when we leave, and your preferences stay on file so you never have to repeat yourself.
A note from me
Hello, friends. We are a Lincoln family who put down roots here in 2016. Before retiring, I spent 34 years working for the State of California in a variety of management roles. These days, I work as a server at Meridian's restaurant in Sun City Lincoln Hills, where I've been employed for the past eight and a half years.
When I'm not working, you'll find me cooking, gardening, or traveling with my family. I'm married, and together we're grandparents to four grandchildren, ages 10 to 21.
One day, while I was remaking my own bed, I realized how dreaded this chore is for so many, and how physically demanding it is for others. Right then, the idea for Smiley Sheets was born.
One less chore. One more reason to smile.
